Medical and health centres
Connect the consulting room, the lab and the cash desk
Tests ordered by the doctor arrive at the lab and on the bill at the same moment, results come back to the patient record, and insurance claims go out complete.
Medical centres usually go live in about four weeks, and the lab, pharmacy and cash desk can each go live one at a time if that suits your team.
Busy enough for a lab, still working like a small clinic?
Once a facility has a lab, a store and insurance patients, paper starts to cost real money. Tests are run but never billed, results sit on a slip until someone carries them back, and the store runs out of reagents mid-week.
Insurance claims come back rejected for a missing pre-authorisation or a wrong member number, often weeks later. At month end the ministry report means counting through several registers.
TibaCloud puts every department on one patient record, so each order flows to the lab, the pharmacy and the bill, and claims are checked before they are sent.

Drugs and reagents across stores, with suppliers, reorder levels and expiry warnings.
SMS reminders
Appointment reminders and patient notices sent by SMS.
Ministry reports from your records
Monthly national reports built from visits and results, with no registers to tally.
Inside the system
What medical centres use every day

Vitals from triage, history, ICD-11 diagnoses and orders sit together. Prescriptions are checked against allergies and weight before they leave the room, and lab and pharmacy receive them straight away.

Medical centres: questions
Can lab analysers send results straight into TibaCloud?
The laboratory module supports direct result import from analysers, alongside sample barcodes and abnormal-value flags. Which analysers can be linked depends on the model; we check yours during the site visit.
Which insurers and schemes can we claim from?
Private insurers, smart-card systems and national schemes such as SHA in Kenya, configured for your country. Uganda’s national health insurance is not in force yet; TibaCloud is ready to connect when it launches.
Can we start with one department?
Yes. Departments can go live one at a time, for example registration and the cash desk first, then the lab and pharmacy. Many facilities pilot in one department before the full rollout.
Is 20 users enough for a medical centre?
The Medical Centre plan includes 20 users, each with their own login and role. If you need more, the Hospital plan includes 60 and the Enterprise plan has no user limit.
Can we keep our existing patient numbers?
We import your existing patient records in weeks two and three of rollout. Talk to us during the site visit about how your current numbers should carry across.
