Where we price locally, and where we don’t yet
Uganda and Kenya have local-currency plans, in UGX and KES, with their mobile money, insurance, national reporting and tax integrations set up.
Everywhere else, the International plans in US dollars apply. We confirm which local integrations are available for your country during the site visit and quote, before you commit.
Country questions
Which countries does TibaCloud work in?
Any country. The clinical core is the same everywhere, and International plans are priced in US dollars. Uganda and Kenya also have local-currency plans. Payments, insurance, national reporting and tax are integrations configured for your country, and we confirm what is available for yours during the site visit and quote.
Which mobile money providers can we connect?
Mobile money is set up per country and matched to bills automatically, for example MTN MoMo and Airtel Money in Uganda and M-Pesa in Kenya. In other countries we confirm which local providers can be connected before you sign up.
Can we claim from our national health insurance scheme?
Insurance claims, on Medical Centre plans and up, cover national schemes and private insurers with member checks, pre-authorisation and claims tracking. In Kenya that includes SHA. Uganda’s national health insurance is not in force yet; TibaCloud is ready to connect when it launches.
Does TibaCloud report to DHIS2?
Yes. Monthly ministry reports are built from your records in your ministry’s formats, for example HMIS 105 and 108 in Uganda and MOH 705/711 to KHIS in Kenya, both DHIS2. Elsewhere we configure the report formats your ministry uses.
Does it handle tax e-invoicing?
Where your tax authority requires it, for example URA EFRIS in Uganda and KRA eTIMS in Kenya. Requirements differ by facility and country, so confirm your obligations with your accountant.
Where is our data hosted, and which standards do you use?
Patient data is protected with consent records, role-based access, a full audit trail and encrypted daily backups, to support your local data protection law. Where a country has data localisation rules, we confirm the hosting region before go-live. TibaCloud uses open standards that work across borders: HL7 FHIR, ICD-11, LOINC and DICOM.
